2026 Tuber/Cutting Sale DISCLAIMER- PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING
Shipping Policy
Flat Rate Shipping
Shipping is a flat rate whether you purchase 1 tuber/cutting or 20.
Combined Orders
If you place multiple orders during this sale, you must select the $7 Combined Order Shipping Fee instead of the standard $15 shipping fee.
You are responsible for choosing the correct option.
We will not manually refund or combine shipping fees.
Purchase Limits
If a variety is marked Limit 1, this means 1 per household per season (2026).
Example: Do not repurchase “Unicorn” if you already purchased it earlier in the season.
Abusing purchase limits or shipping discounts may result in cancellation of all orders.
We have previously had customers purchase under multiple names for an unfair advantage.
Do not attempt this. We will identify it, and other growers will be informed.
Do NOT Order From Us If…
1. You plan to move during shipping season.
We do not manually adjust addresses. Set up mail forwarding with your post office.
2. You plan to be on vacation during shipping season.
We cannot track hundreds of individual delivery schedules.
3. You expect perfect-looking tubers.
Tubers can be “ugly” and still grow beautifully.
Cosmetic flaws are normal and not refundable.
Refund Policy
Refunds are issued only for:
• Rotted tubers/cuttings
• Frozen tubers/cuttings
• Broken tubers/cuttings
To qualify, you must email photo proof within 24 hours of USPS/UPS delivery notification.
Photos must include:
• Original packaging
• Damaged plant material
Social Media Posting Rule
Posting your tubers or rooted cuttings on social media before contacting us and receiving a reply from Close to Home Farm will VOID your refund or replacement eligibility.
Mislabel Policy
If you suspect a mislabeled tuber or cutting, you must contact us by September 30th of the same year of purchase at:

• A photo of the original tag from the tuber/cutting
• A photo of the bloom in question
If we made a mistake, we will make it right. Replacements will be shipped either:
• In the fall of the same year, or
• In the spring of the following year.
If a variety is discontinued or no longer grown, we will offer a refund or an equal-value substitute.
Communication Policy
Once again please contact us directly with any tuber/cutting concerns.
We are happy to review photos and offer solutions—no social media “advice” needed.
Virus Policy
• No refunds are given for virus-affected dahlias (tubers or cuttings) after 24 hours of delivery.
• Gall is uncommon but not eliminated. We import dahlias and grow them in pots for one year to monitor for gall. This reduces but does not guarantee zero risk.
• Credit will be issued only for gall if the plant was grown in a pot, not in ground.
• Customers must quarantine new varieties as we do.
• We visually inspect all varieties during harvest, propagation, and shipping.
• We test many varieties, though not all.
• Cuttings leave our farm appearing healthy.
• We are not responsible for issues that arise after plants are on your property.
Cancellation Policy
• Orders canceled for any reason are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
• Refunds will be issued within 30 days of request.
• Refunds are not given because eyes are not visible upon arrival. Every tuber is inspected.
Our Standards
All tubers and cuttings sold by Close to Home Farm are grown by us.
We maintain strict sanitation practices and cull hard to ensure healthy, high-quality stock.

Truly Top-Notch
Having a hard time buying for that hard to buy person in your life, whether it’s your mother, wife, or just a hard-working lady in your life. Order one of our summer flower subscriptions, there are many different options to suit your needs. Maybe you just want to spruce up your office with fresh flowers in the summer/fall. We are offering 4-6 wks of grower's choice fresh bouquets, each week you will get one fresh bouquet depending on what is in season. Subscription season begins in early July- late September. Once you purchase your subscription you will be given a range of dates you would like your subscription to begin.
